Possible Craft Show - Discussions - Texas Friends Team Etsy - Etsy Teams:

Hey folks!

I'm looking to set up a Holiday Craft show in the Curious Soul Studio, which is right next to Just Be. Here's the address:

The location is right in between Tomball and Magnolia, it's pretty simple to find, too. Just Be is a Purple house. If you're looking for it, you can't miss it.

The deal is, the owner of the studio requires a 2 hr minimum, at $25 an hour. If we rent the studio for 6 or more hours, the cost is lowered to $20 an hour. I would like to rent the studio for 6 or more hours on Nov. 26th, and have about 8-10 vendors. If you are interested please let me know! We would be advertising on Facebook (an event you can invite people to) and possibly doing an Ads campaign. I would have you send $5 through paypal to cover advertising through there. We pay via Paypal for Facebook ads. I'd probably do it for about 2 weeks before the show... we would have limited advertising, but I'd be able to keep track of it and focus on people in the area.
There isn't a TON of space, for big tables, so those of you with clothes will probably be situated towards the back. The studio is VERY open and there will be no issues with people not being able to see your items in the back. No worries! I watched the place be modified and built into the treasure it is, so I've got a good idea of how I want us to set up.
Let me know if you are interested. It would be my first time setting this kind of thing up, so any advice and help is very welcome!
We are asking that each person donate ONE item for people to enter to win. We are planning on making it so that you have to be at the show to enter, and you can enter to win each item you are interested in. This will be a Holiday based craft show, so if you feel like pulling out your best holiday items, it would probably be a good idea!
Please let me know if you can do this, and we will discuss it more! I already have 2 vendors (not including myself) interested. :) I need at least 8 to keep the cost down, so email as soon as you can about it! The sooner we get the money together, the sooner I can book that weekend and keep it from getting snatched up!

Throughout November and December of 2011 we will be granting specific Etsy Teams with a weekly Team Spirit Award to recognize hard work and exemplary accomplishments.
